Big Changes Coming to Hyderabad! GHMC to be Divided into 3 Corporations 🏙️
Exciting news for Hyderabad residents! To make our city a "Global City" and ensure faster services for everyone, the government is planning a major reorganization of the GHMC.
What does this mean for you?
Faster Services: The current GHMC is very large. Dividing it will help the government address local issues like drinking water, waste collection, and traffic much faster.
Cyberabad Corporation: Hi-Tech City and nearby suburban areas may soon have their own dedicated corporation!
More Growth in Suburbs: New divisions (70–80 per corporation) mean more focus on developing roads and infrastructure in the outskirts.
Elections in February: The government is working on an ordinance to complete this process before the municipal elections.
Why the change? The goal is "Ease of Administration." Smaller corporations mean separate funds and dedicated officials who can focus on specific neighborhoods rather than one giant zone.
